Bob Saunier (Founding Owner of First Realty Inc). - Bob established First Realty in McAlester nearly half a century ago in 1960. He and his wife Drue worked together for 40 years establishing the Redbud Acres, Green Meadows Subdivisions and the Green Meadows Apartments. Bob has been responsible for the development of hundreds of homes and commercial buildings in the area. He was appointed by four successive Governors to the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission and is a past President of the International Association of Real Estate License Law Officials. He is also a Retired United States Army Colonel and a dual rated Army aviator. Bob continues to be an active part of the everyday running of First Realty with his wisdom and passion for the company and the real estate business.

Verlon Taylor - (Sales Associate) Verlon was born and raised in Heneryetta, Ok. She moved to McAlester in 1955 where she and her husband Bob made there home and raised their family. Verlon has a daughter Carolyn Maffeo that lives in Cincinnati with her husband Bob,  and is in the real estate business too. her son Justice Steven Taylor lives in OKC part of the week and the other in McAlester with his wife Mary. She also has 3 grandchildren, Bill is a Structural Engineer and lives in Baltimore with his wife Megan, Wilson is a Manager for The Thunder in OKC and her granddaughter is a junior in high school. Verlon has been with First Realty for 40 something years and has enjoyed working at First Realty and has found it a great joy to help people over the years to find the home of their dreams.

Wynemia Durant - (Broker Associate) Wynemia was born and raised in Quinton, Ok. She moved to McAlester in 1953 with her parents and has lived here every since. She has a daugher Dewaynna who is a teacher at Frink Chambers School and 1 granddaughter who is a criminlogist with the OSBI. She has had her real estate license since 1975, after working 31 years for the Government she retired and has worked at First Realty since 1990. She is an active member of Main and Oklahoma Church of Christ. Wynemia enjoys her profession and looks forward to each day when she can help someone find a new home.

Doryce Plumlee-

Larry Ivey - (Sales Associate) Larry is originally from Northeastern Oklahoma, he is the 7th child of 9 children. His family moved to Savanna when he was 14. He attended Savanna High School and Eastern Oklahoma State College where he studied marketing. He spent 6 yrs with the 445th Military Police Co. based in McAlester. He also worked for the U.S. Post Office in McAlester first as a letter carrier, then as a sorting clerk and window clerk, retiring after 32 years in 2006. He is a member of the First Baptist Church, South McAlester Masonic Lodge #96, Scottish Rite of Oklahoma, Lake Eufaula Rod & Gun Club and Pittsburg Co. Historical Genealogical Society. Besides selling real estate Larry is a partner in ADEAL Auction Co. he has been with First Realty since March, 2005.




Margaret Corder - (Office Manager) She is the glue that keeps this bunch together!  She was born and raised in McAlester, attended McAlester from K-12, after high school she attended Eastern State College earning an associates degree. She is the daughter of Freada Burden and the late Clovis Burden, She has 3 older siblings Jim, Bob and Kathy. She has been married 17 years to her husband Rick and has 2 children Matt and Katie. Matt is a Jr. in college at ECU pursuing a degree in History and planning on attending graduate school at OU after graduating from ECU and Katie is in the Nursing Program at Kiamichi Technology Center and is married to Cody who is inlisted in the Army and will be leaving in January for a year tour in South Korea. Margaret just recently took on another job at our office by learning how to do Virtual Tours and the designing of our new website. She has been with First Realty for 11years.
